I have waited until I felt able to write this review, as losing our beloved cat William was deeply traumatic. Following his death, we discovered that kidney issues had been flagged months earlier but had never been communicated to us. Had we been told, we would of course have wanted to understand the findings, discuss any necessary monitoring or treatment, and make informed decisions about William’s care. It is devastating to know that important information about his health existed but was not shared with us. The euthanasia itself was also made more distressing when we were disturbed by the practice’s main vet during what should have been a private and peaceful final moment with William. It was an incredibly sensitive time that needed to be handled with care and respect, and the interruption added further upset to an already heartbreaking experience. I raised a formal complaint with Green Lane Vets. They apologised and said they would take the complaint seriously to help prevent similar issues in future. While I hope lessons genuinely have been learned, that response cannot undo what happened or the distress it has caused our family. I am not writing this out of spite, but because other pet owners deserve to be aware. I would strongly encourage anyone using this practice to ask for copies of test results and clinical notes, follow up directly on any investigations, and not assume that every significant finding will necessarily be communicated. William was a much-loved member of our family, and we will always be left wondering whether things could have been different had we been told about his kidney issues when they were first identified.

Just trying to rob you , brought in some birds that we knew the illness of. Didnt get us the medicine we needed. We brought them in and looked at them and asked for £50 without any drugs

This is one of the best Vets I have been to, the staff are friendly and professional and I cannot fault the care and attention they have given to both of my dogs. I would recommend to everyone and so nice to have an independent vets clinic as opposed to all the chains. 😊
