I can not praise the whole team enough for the care of not just my elderly cat Tommy who we had to have put to sleep but to the care of my self and my daughter at a very sad time. Right the way through they were lovely. The vet took great care of Tommy and one of the reception team sat and comforted my daughter the whole time as she couldn't bring herself to stay in the room at that time. Thank you all so much you're amazing.

My 11 month old Staffie, Lola, woke up with her left eye closed and was clearly in pain. I managed to get an appointment within 2 hours and was seen by Lucyann who was fantastic. She talked through the possible root causes and possible treatment plans. Once Lola had a fluorescein stain test which showed she had a very small eye ulcer. Lucyann sorted out a treatment plan and gave me all the information I needed. We booked in a follow-up consultation with Lucyann 2 days later and after another stain test, the ulcer had completely disappeared. Lucyann was very professional in her approach, great with Lola and I would highly recommend her to others.

A massive thank you to the whole team — from the moment we called, to walking through the doors, we felt genuinely cared for and looked after, and so did our puppy! Having previously had a terrible experience with another veterinary practice, we were quite nervous. But the difference here was night and day. The receptionist on the phone was kind and helpful, the ladies at the front desk were warm and welcoming, and the vet we saw was absolutely AMAZING — so knowledgeable, gentle, and clearly passionate about what they do. We left feeling reassured, supported, and incredibly grateful. Thank you again for making such a stressful time feel manageable and for treating our puppy like one of your own. Highly recommended!

Really poor service recently; I complained about a rude member of reception staff and as a consequence, was cancelled by them. I raised this with the owner who inexplicably agreed and said they don’t want customers like me - I was a customer for over ten years with three dogs. Ironically, they never kept to an appointment time, all appointments were late without apology. You never get to see the same vet due to constant staff turnover as well meaning no consistency in care. Important to remember here is that Companion Care is a franchise which in turn is owned by a venture capitalist-they only exist for profit maximisation. Go to an independent.

Would Love to Thank Vet Catherine Williams and Nurse Jess Button for their care and professional help whilst caring for Morwenna, when she had her Spay op yesterday. right from ADMIT to Discharge they kept me at ease and updated and kept me up to date when Morwenna woke up from the Op. She's doing very well thank our lucky stars and seems to be healing very nicely 😊 I Recommend Companion Care at Pets at Home if anyone needs a kind team who would truly look after their pet who kindness and compassion.
